Types of AR Experiences
MyWebAR allows you to add augmented reality to printed images, product packaging, curved images (bottle labels, cups and cans), QR codes and real-world environment.

You can select the type of your experience in the project creation window:
Let's have a look at each type of augmented reality experience in detail.
AR on a QR Code
Display augmented reality content over printed or on-screen QR codes. With this type of augmented reality project a QR code is used to launch your experience and the same code also works as a marker the digital content is attached to in AR.
AR in the Real World
Display augmented reality content on horizontal surfaces of the real world without any images or location anchors.
Display augmented reality content on a custom image uploaded to MyWebAR. Augment any type of printed media, product packaging, marketing materials, clothing, accessories and more.
Please note that different images might have different levels of trackability, depending on the level of detail, contrast, visible shapes and patterns. Shiny and reflective surfaces can reduce the performance of your augmented reality experience. We recommend avoiding reflective materials for your printed images and curved labels and designs.
The Ultimate plan also allows you to combine multiple image tracking projects into a Multiscene experience, enabling users to recognize multiple images using the same AR camera, without switching the webpage
AR on a Curved Image
Available on all premium plans
Display augmented reality content over curved images. This type of experience allows you to add digital content to bottle labels, coffee cups, cans and other cylinder shaped objects.

To create a curved image experience you need to upload an undistorted (uncurved) design of your label into the platform. It will be automatically turned into a cylinder on the scene.

You can adjust the top and bottom radius for cone-shaped objects, such as coffee cups.
