MyWebAR supports 3D objects in
.glb,
.fbx and
.dae formats.
.glb is the most compatible and optimal file format for webAR. It allows to avoid compatibility issues, as it bundles all textures, materials, mesh data and animation tracks into a single file.
MyWebAR includes a built-in model optimizer for .glb files that allows to significantly reduce the size of your 3D models without any noticeable quality loss. You will be prompted whether you want to use compression or not when uploading your model.
Please note that the optimization results might vary depending on the model itself. If your 3D object has a different file format, you can use the free
Blender app to convert it.
You can also use free and purchased models from
Sketchfab. You can find them on the content library panel in the editor when adding a 3D model.
