Supported Devices and Web Browsers
Experiences created on MyWebAR can run on almost any camera-enabled device with a relatively modern version of web browser and operating system. It supports iOS, Android, Windows, MacOS, ChromeOS and Linux devices.

The minimum software requirements:

  • iOS 16.4 or newer
  • Android 11 or newer
  • ChromeOS or ChromeOS Flex
  • Windows 10 or newer
  • MacOS Mojave or newer

Supported iOS browsers:

  • Safari (iOS 16.4 or newer)
  • Chrome (iOS 16.4 or newer)
  • Microsoft Edge (iOS 16.4 or newer)
  • Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, WhatsApp, Twitter and other in-app browsers (iOS 16.4 or newer)

Supported Android browsers:

  • Google Chrome
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Samsung Internet
  • Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, WhatsApp, Twitter and other in-app browsers
Important:

The actual performance of a specific AR experience might depend on the following factors:

  • The complexity of your experience. Basic experiences including a single low poly 3D model or a single video should run on any device that meets the minimal requirements. An experience that includes multiple high poly models combined with video or audio elements would require a more powerful device

  • Hardware specifications of the device. We recommend using devices with at least 3GB of RAM and at least 4 CPU cores for optimal performance, which translates to iPhone X or newer and a wide range of Android devices.

  • The speed of your Internet connection. We recommend using LTE, 5G or WiFi networks for optimal content loading speed.
