Code Debugging

Entering debugging mode

To debug the code, you need to go into edit mode first. For more information on how to do this, see Code editing.
To enter debug mode, click on the Debug button at the bottom of the window.
A new window opens.
As you can see, the window is divided into three parts:
  1. 1.
Left part. Augmented reality preview mode. Here the object appears. To be exact, it’s an imitation of the object from the plugin.
  2. 2.
Central part. Parameter Setup. This is where the modifiable parameters are set. It is an imitation of the modal window that opens when an object is added.
  3. 3.
Right part. Developer Console. This is where the system information appears when starting a scene with the plugin.

How to work with debug mode?

First, set the parameters. You can also leave them by default.
Then, press the Play button to start the debugger.
The scene starts and the information appears in the console.
In this case, the code worked without errors.
If errors occur, the console looks like this:
To correct the errors, close the debug window and fix the code. Don't forget to save the changes you have made.
When the errors are fixed, click the Debug button and enter debug mode again.
